In the May 1st Disclosure bulletin, Ginnie Mae provided a final reminder of the transition from the legacy Issuer File, “issuers_YYYYMM.txt”, to the new Ginnie Mae Issuer File, “issrinfo_YYYYMM.txt”. To assist with this transition, Ginnie Mae will continue to provide the Production legacy Issuer File, “issuers_YYYYMM.txt” for a period of three months. The legacy file will be available on the Disclosure New Release Test File Download page, and the file name for the file will begin with “test-”. The first file, “test-issuers_201804.txt” is currently available for download. The “test-issuers_201806.txt” file, published in early July, 2018 will be the final legacy Issuer File posted on this page.
