Beginning in December 2017, Ginnie Mae will begin providing a separate Prospective Multiple Issuer Pool (MIP) Numbers file that includes MIP information in the format consistent with the existing Consolidated Disclosure File “D” Record (see attached file layout).

Ginnie Mae currently provides Prospective Multiple Issuer Pool Numbers on the Disclosure Data Download page in a file named “Prospective_MIP.txt”. Note that there is no change to the existing “Prospective_MIP.txt” file.

Beginning in December 2017, the new file, named “test-DRecord_Prosp_MIP.txt”, will be available on the New Release Test File Download page. The file will contain production Prospective Multiple Issuer Pool data and will be for testing purposes only.
