Welcome to the Ginnie Mae Strategic Plan
Every four years, Ginnie Mae develops a Strategic Plan which outlines and describes organizational goals, objectives, and priorities. The Strategic Plan is shaped by direction from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidance and other Government policies. The Ginnie Mae 2022-2026 Strategic Plan elaborates on the responsibilities in the HUD Strategic Plan, incorporates other Ginnie Mae strategic needs, and serves as an internal planning and accountability tool.
Strategic Priorities
Ginnie Mae is government-owned corporation located within the HUD. HUD's FY 2022-2026 Strategic Plan lays out the administration's strategy for ensuring everyone has an affordable, healthy place to live. Ginnie Mae's essential role in providing liquidity for government - sponsored housing programs has been recognized under Strategic Goal 3, "Promote Homeownership," where we lead Objective 3B to "Create A More Accessible And Inclusive Housing Finance System" through four core strategies, supplemented by a fifth strategy that is a prerequisite for achieving them:

Ginnie Mae's Goals for 2022-2026
The Ginnie Mae 2022-2026 Strategic Plan elaborates on the responsibilities in the HUD Strategic Plan, incorporates other Ginnie Mae strategic needs, and serves as an internal planning and accountability tool.
