Ginnie Mae is informing its users of changes that impact the web addresses (URLs) that are used to access Ginnie Mae’s disclosure webpages.

In order to comply with an Office of Management and Budget (OMB) federal memorandum (OMB Memorandum M-15-13) that requires all publicly-accessible federal websites and web services provide service only through a secure internet connection, Ginnie Mae now provides service through a secure internet connection (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS)). At this time, the existing HTTP connection will also remain accessible. Users of disclosure data are encouraged to access via HTTPS as access to the website via HTTP will eventually be discontinued.
