Ginnie Mae is implementing two enhancements to its Platinum Pool Disclosure Files, beginning in June 2025.

• Enhancement 1: Ginnie Mae is adding a single character “Social Indicator" flag to the end of the “PS" Record in the Platinum Pool Security File (both New Issuance and Portfolio files).  An indicator of “Y" is present when all Collateral Pools are Issued October 2023 or later.​
  
• Enhancement 2: Ginnie Mae is adding a new one-field stratification record, Record Type 29, for Rural Area data, in the Platinum Portfolio Enhanced Supplemental File.  The new record provides platinum pool-level aggregate information about the extent of UPB dollars based on U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Urban Commuting Area (RUCA) areas.  The new stratification record is only provided on the monthly Platinum Portfolio Enhanced Supplemental File; Record Type 29 will not be included on Daily Platinum Supplemental Files. 

Platinum Pool Disclosure Layout version 2.1.5 is attached.​

Test File:  A full-size Production test file, “test-platmonPS_YYYYMM.zip", with Record Type 29 included, will be provided in late May 2025 on the Disclosure New Release Test File Download page.  There will be no test file for the platinum pool security files.
