Ginnie Mae is announcing a new Data Element on its MBS SF Pool Security File, beginning in September 2024. Layout version 1.2.7 is attached, detailing the addition of the 1-character data element, “Social Indicator”.
This data will be provided on both the daily New Issuance files and on the monthly portfolio MBS SF Pool File. There is no change to the MBS SF Pool Supplemental Files.
Test File: There will be no test file published for this change.
