Some investors have expressed concerns surrounding the November and December MBS disclosure files available on Ginnie Mae’s website for certain pools. Specifically, investors stated that the November and December reporting for certain pools show inconsistencies between the Factor and Liquidation Files. These inconsistencies stem from the cybersecurity incident reported in Ginnie Mae’s Bulletins (“Impacted Pools”).

Ginnie Mae's understanding is that data reported for the Impacted Pools is being reconciled by Mr. Cooper. Mr. Cooper advised Ginnie Mae that reconciliations and any necessary adjustments will be reflected in December reported factors and related pass-through remittances.

The reported adjustments reflect liquidations that normally would have appeared in the November factor are now reflected in the December factor.
