Ginnie Mae published APM 23-03 on February 1, which announced that re-performing loans (Loan Purpose = 5) can be pooled in Ginnie Mae Single Family Multi-Issuer Pools (M SF).
This bulletin provides disclosure file information as follows:
- There is no change to any layout; no change to any existing records; and no new records.
- Beginning with February 2023 SF Pool new issuance, disclosure data users will see Loan Purpose = 5 enumerated in the existing stratification records for M SF pools. Previously, Loan Purpose =5 did not appear in the loan purpose enumerations for any M SF Pool stratifications.
- The impacted existing files include:
a. MBS SF Daily New Issuance Supplemental; and
b. MBS SF Portfolio Supplemental. - Applicable existing Stratification Records include 06 and 19.
