Website users should be aware that on Saturday, March 27th the Ginnie Mae website will be upgraded.
Users who manually access disclosure files via GinnieMae.gov may need to re-enter credentials upon entrance to the website pages listed below, but otherwise should be unaffected.
Developers using automated scripts or programs to download disclosure files should be advised that user profile cookies will be changed during the upgrade. If your script uses a user profile cookie for authentication, a new User Profile ID will need to be retrieved from the website after the upgrade takes place on March 27th. For instructions on how to obtain a new User Profile ID, please consult pages 2-3 in the Automating File Download Guide (see attached). Failure to update the User Profile ID may cause an interruption in access to disclosure files via automated processes.
Automated scripts or programs that use standard authentication via email address and security question should not be affected. Access to the below webpages will be affected:
- Disclosure Data Download
- Disclosure Data History
- Multiclass REMIC & Platinum Data
- Test File Download
- Legacy Disclosure Files
For questions about the website upgrade and the potential impact to automated file download programs, please send an email to investorinquiries@hud.gov. Inquiries to this email will be addressed within 2 business days. |
