Starting in June 2020, Ginnie Mae will begin to publish two supplemental disclosure files (a Pool-Level Supplemental File and a Loan-Level Supplemental File) containing loan forbearance information in Ginnie Mae Single Family MBS Pools. The files will be published on a monthly basis and will only contain loans in forbearance. See attached layouts for details. Files will be provided on the Data Disclosure Download Files page.
The Pool Level Forbearance disclosure file will have a “stratification” record, similar in format to the stratification records in the Single Family MBS Pool disclosure stratification records, that will provide pool aggregate data about the loan count, UPB and percentages of the pool that are related to forbearances.
The Loan Level Forbearance will parallel the layout of the existing Loan Level file and is in effect a supplemental record. The loan level forbearance file with have one record for each loan forbearance. The file will have the same format of headers and trailers as the main loan level file, and loan level records for each pool as applicable.
