Ginnie Mae is continuing to provide test file information related to the Enhanced MBS Single Family Pool Level Disclosure: Ginnie Mae has posted a set of test files for October Monthly Portfolio files to the Disclosure New Release Test File Download page.

With the enhanced Single Family Pool disclosure, Ginnie Mae is now calculating the weighted average attributes from the loan level, for all pools. This aligns all pools with the same loan level formula/calculations for weighted averages based directly on the loan level. The enhancement does result in some one time differences. The attached spreadsheet, “201910_Monthly_WA Diffs_Comparison.xlsx”, contains October 2019 weighted average differences: one tab for Multiple Issuer Pools (Issue Type “M”), and one tab for Ginnie Mae I (Issue Type “X”) and Ginnie Mae II Custom (Issue Type “C”). In each spreadsheet tab, columns A-D have "Existing" Consolidated Disclosure Pools/Weighted Averages, columns F-I have "New" Single Family Pool Disclosure Pools/Weighted Averages, columns K-M list the differences, and column O provides comments.

Note that beginning in January 2020 (see the schedule in bulletin 2019-058), users will be able to access both the “Existing” Consolidated Disclosure and the "New" Single Family Pool Disclosure data from the Disclosure Data Download page for further comparisons.
