In Bulletin 2018-082, Ginnie Mae announced the new HMBS Platinum Disclosures layout’s implementation schedule, summary of changes, and plans for test files. This bulletin provides a correction to the HMBS Platinum Layout from that bulletin: The addition of the “As-Of Date” field. The HMBS Platinum layout addition of field 16 to at the end of the “D” record makes the total record length 112, and the addition of field 80 at the end of the “R” record makes the total record length 691.
The “As-Of Date” is a field identifying the reporting period of the data in the record and was inadvertently omitted. A corrected HMBS Platinum Layout is attached.
Test files for the HMBS PLATINUM and PLATINUM COLLATERAL files will be made available on the Disclosure New Release Test File Download page on December 3rd, 2018.

Collateral for the HMBS Platinum pools will be available in two existing disclosure files: The existing Daily (platdcoll.txt) and Monthly (platcoll_YYYYMM.zip) files as of the Implementation Schedule below. The layout for the Platinum Collateral will remain unchanged, although instructions for the Platinum Collateral layout have been updated (see attached version 1.3.1). HMBS Platinum Pool Factor data will be available in the existing Factor B file, “factorB2_YYYYMM.zip”, beginning as early as March 2019 (“factorB2_201902.zip”).
Implementation Schedule
It is anticipated that the HMBS Platinum Disclosure will begin with February 2019 data: February 2019 New Issuance File data (a daily file, cumulative for the month) and for February 2019 Monthly data (once per month on the 8th Business Day, 6 PM ET, of the following month). File layouts will be effective February 1, 2019. The “hplatdaily.txt” and “hplatmon_YYYYMM.zip” will be published on the Disclosure Data Download page.
