Beginning in December 2017, Ginnie Mae will disclose the “X” Record on both Consolidated Disclosure Files: the MBS (Portfolio), “monthly_YYYYMM.zip” and the MBS DAILY, “daily.txt” files. “X” Records on the “daily.txt” files will only reflect Pools Issued for Immediate Transfer (PIIT Transfers). Currently, the “X” Record is only disclosed on the Portfolio, Pool Level, MBS (Portfolio) file, “monthly_YYYYMM.zip” (the Consolidated Disclosure File, “X” Record). There are no other changes to the “X” Record.

As of December 1, 2017, the “X” Record instruction on the Consolidated Disclosure File Layout: “No Pool transfers are available for disclosure in New Issuance Disclosure files” will be updated to include “PIIT” transfers in New Issuance Disclosure files.
