Ginnie Mae is pleased to provide disclosure information for its Platinum New Issuance disclosure files, the New Issuance Platinum Enhanced file and the New Issuance Platinum Collateral file. These new files will replace the existing Platinum Pool disclosure data found in the current “daily.txt” and “weekly_yyyymm.txt” files and will provide Platinum New Issuance disclosure information in the format as the Monthly Platinum Enhanced and Collateral files. As of April 2017, Platinum Pools will not be included in the New Issuance Pool Level disclosure, the “daily.txt” files.
Beginning with April 2017 New Issuance, the New Issuance Platinum Enhanced file and New Issuance Platinum Collateral files can be found in the “New Issues (NI)” section, “Pool-Level Files” subsection of the Disclosure Data Download page. These are cumulative files in the month of Issuance and are named as follows:
- “platdaily.txt”
- “platdcoll.txt”
When there is a Business Day where there are no Platinum Pool New Issuance to disclose for a month, an empty file will be available.
The layouts for the New Issuance files are the same layouts as the Monthly Platinum Enhanced and Platinum Collateral disclosures (no change), but the layouts have been updated to version 1.2, attached, which provide guidance on the naming conventions for New Issuance files (new) and Monthly files (remaining the same). See the layout Version History on page 2.
