On Friday, December 13, 2013, Ginnie Mae will release monthly loan-level Disclosure data for existing, active Single-Family MBS. The first release will include both October and November Disclosure information. Thereafter, the file will be released on a monthly basis (10th business day at 6:00pm).
As with the test files that Ginnie Mae provided earlier this year (found in the Bulletin section of Ginnie Mae’s MBS Disclosure Data page), this data will include both New Issuances and existing loans/pools; it will be disclosed in two files, one for Ginnie Mae I data and one for Ginnie Mae II data. Both loan-level disclosure files will include information regarding borrowers’ debt-to-income ratios, delinquencies and credit scores.
To protect borrower’s privacy, Ginnie Mae is providing data as follows:
- Truncating the OPB and UPB at Issuance fields to the thousandths place (e.g. a value of 123456.78 will be disclosed as 123000.00)
- Blanking out the actual UPB for the first six months based on the Pool Issue Date; the actual UPB will begin to be disclosed in the seventh month.
- Masking the MSA field: data is blank for all loans
These Single-Family MBS loan-level data files will only be available on Ginnie Mae’s website (found under Doing Business with Ginnie Mae – Investor Resources – Ginnie Mae MBS Disclosure Data – Disclosure Data Download). Website users will have to agree to Ginnie Mae’s Terms of Use statement on the
Disclosure Data Download page.
